Rosebridge Celebrates 20 Years of Supporting Clients and Community

This year, we are marking a milestone that fills us with enormous pride: 20 years of Rosebridge. Two decades built on trust, meaningful relationships, and a shared commitment to helping our clients achieve financial peace of mind and the futures they deserve.

When our CEO Phil Rose founded Rosebridge in 2006, we started as a close-knit team of four. Today, we are more than 40 professionals, yet the values that drove us from day one have never wavered. As Phil explains:

“At Rosebridge, everything we do starts with understanding the person in front of us; their hopes, their concerns, and what financial security really means to them. We help clients make informed decisions about investments, retirement planning, and wealth protection, but more than that, we try to be a trusted presence throughout their lives. Every member of our team plays a role in that. It is a privilege I do not take lightly, and one that makes coming to work meaningful every single day.”

From the very beginning, professional excellence has set us apart. In 2007, we became one of the first financial advice practices in the North West of England to achieve Chartered status, a rigorous accreditation that reflects our commitment to the highest standards of knowledge, ethics, and client care. That commitment has been recognised consistently over the years. We are proud to have appeared in Citywire’s Top 100 Financial Planning Firms for eight consecutive years, to have achieved a Top 10 placement in the Financial Times Top 100 Financial Advice Firms in 2024, and to have had Phil named PFS Chartered Financial Planner of the Year in 2017.

Investing in our people has always been just as important to us as investing for our clients. We fully support our team on their path to professional qualifications, welcoming at least two graduates each year through our structured graduate programme. Our team includes 11 Chartered Financial Planners and 10 Diploma-qualified professionals, and we encourage everyone to grow in the direction that is right for them. Knowledge is shared openly, and that culture of learning runs through everything we do. Alongside this, we have invested heavily in technology, modernising our systems to make our clients’ experience smoother and more responsive, while never losing the personal touch that defines who we are.

Over the years, we have grown our reach with offices in Leeds, which we opened in 2012, and Chester in 2017, while remaining rooted in Ramsbottom. Our head office, The Grants, is a beautifully restored historic building dating to the 1780s, a fitting home for a firm that values heritage as much as progress.

In 2009, our sister company Pro Sport was established, dedicated to helping professional athletes and sportspersons plan for their financial futures and for life beyond their playing careers. Professional sport brings a unique set of financial challenges, and Pro Sport exists to help athletes navigate them with confidence.

Extending well beyond our client work, Rosebridge is proud to support causes close to our hearts, including Ramsbottom United Football Club, Ramsbottom Pantry, Mission Christmas, Rainbow Junktion in Leeds, and Save the Family in Chester, with our team volunteering and fundraising throughout the year. Community has always been woven into the fabric of who we are, and that will never change.

As we look ahead to the next 20 years, we do so with the same values that have guided us from the start, and with genuine excitement for what is still to come for our clients, our team, and our community.
