Making a Difference Together

Alongside the milestones achieved this year, Rosebridge were pleased to support several meaningful charitable initiatives.

Our Partnership with Ramsbottom United FC

Rosebridge was proud to continue its long-standing support of Ramsbottom United FC throughout the year, once again serving as the club’s first team sponsor. The relationship remains a personal one, with our CEO, Phil Rose, having previously captained Ramsbottom United.

Team photo of Ramsbottom United women's team This year, our focus centred even more strongly on supporting the next generation of players and the continued growth of the women’s game. Rosebridge sponsored all Ramsbottom United junior teams, provided season tickets to junior members, and supported the women’s team alongside the rest of the club.

“Grassroots football plays a huge role in bringing people together, and Ramsbottom United does that exceptionally well. Supporting the junior and women’s teams is about helping the club build a strong, inclusive future and ensuring opportunities remain open to players at every stage.” – Phil Rose, CEO

Starting Box: Supporting Patients Through Treatment

Starting Box, co-founded by Rosebridge team member Grace Parry, continued to expand its support for patients undergoing chemotherapy at the Shooting Star Unit, Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The charity prepares care boxes filled with practical and comforting items to offer reassurance at the start of treatment. Grace reflected:Starting box care box complete with care items for patients beginning cancer treatment

“Since our charity ball last year, we have packed over 1,200 boxes for patients beginning their treatment. In June, we reached our 1,000th box, a huge milestone. In April, we also completed a 25km walk in memory of Bill Fowler, raising £5,000. With ongoing donations from local businesses and amazing community backing, the momentum has not slowed down.”

Patient feedback has been deeply touching, with one describing a box as “thoughtful, uplifting and beautifully presented.” We are proud of Grace and the Starting Box team for their care and dedication.

Raising Vital Funds for East Lancashire Hospice

Sean Towers took on three charity runs this year to raise funds for East Lancashire Hospice. He completed the Manchester Marathon despite an injury, followed by the Blackburn to Blackpool Tower run and the Loch Ness Marathon. His efforts raised funds to support the hospice’s wide range of services, from home visits to bereavement guidance, and contributed directly to the care of local patients.

Amanda Mason walked an impressive 118 km for the Walk 100K Challenge, raising funds for Sands, a charity supporting families affected by baby loss. Her efforts contributed to vital research and awareness campaigns, providing crucial support to families across the UK.

Christmas Charity Activities

This festive season, our team supported a variety of charitable initiatives, helping to make a positive impact where it’s needed most. You can read more about the projects we backed this Christmas in our dedicated article.

Giving back continues to be a core part of what we do, and we look forward to supporting charitable organisations throughout 2026.

Team Activities and Celebrations

Rosebridge team coming togteher for our teambuilding day in which we did a painting class. This year, we enjoyed a variety of team events that mixed fun, creativity, and a bit of friendly competition.

For our team-building day, we swapped desks for aprons at The Big Manchester Bake, crafting jiggly jellyfish cakes in a Great British Bake Off-style challenge. We then tested our artistic side in a “no drama llamas” sip and paint session.

Our Christmas celebrations saw the team go head-to-head at go karting before taking aim at Point Blank for some augmented shooting challenges. It was a fun and energetic way to end the year together.
