The Rosebridge Ramsbottom team had the pleasure of hosting our annual MacMillian coffee morning on 27th September 2024. MacMillian Cancer Support plays an invaluable role for individuals and families affected by cancer, from emotional and practical assistance to physical and financial support.

Grace Parry and her team launched Starting Box, a charity dedicated to providing practical and comforting items to patients undergoing chemotherapy on the Shooting Star Cancer Ward in Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

On 24th August 2024, John Davenport took on a remarkable challenge by completing a skydive from 15,000 feet in support of DementiaUK and the vital work they do. We are incredibly proud of John’s bravery in raising awareness for this cause.

Rosebridge ladies and clients came together again to support the NSPCC Fashion Show 2024. As one of the event sponsors we are grateful to everyone for their donations and contributions. All proceeds were donated to Childline North West, to help keep this vital service for children going.

We are proud to support Save the Family again this year, Save the Family currently have a lot of teenage children on site so this year we have donated 15 “oodies” (a dressing gown/jumper, loved by teens), great for keeping warm over the winter months.

The team joined the Christmas Jumper Day celebrations that took place Thursday 7 December 2023 in support of Save the Children.

The team got their Christmas jumpers on to support the charity in helping kids in the UK and around the world get the best future ever.

Andrew Lee successfully completed the Heaton Park Half Marathon on 10th December 2023, raising awareness and support for Parkinson’s UK, a charity dedicated to delivering better care, treatment and quality of life for those affected by Parkinson’s.

We are pleased to support the West Cheshire Food bank again this year. The work they do all year round is vital for individuals and families in and around Chester. Our donation this year will go towards purchasing the vital items the West Cheshire Foodbank needs.

Some of the Head Office team gave their time to Ramsbottom Pantry this Christmas and Rosebridge made a large donation once again this year to support Ramsbottom Pantry’s efforts in providing help to those in our community who need it in these very challenging times!

We were a Christmas gift drop-off location for hitsradio.co.uk/mission. Rosebridge matched all gifts received by way of a monetary donation, which will help to purchase gifts for age groups with fewer donations and for children with specific needs.

Our Advisor at Chester, Jane O’Hara is involved with Open Door Charity,who have involvement in a variety of aspects in mental health and wellbeing. Jane helps to teach young people basic financial knowledge focusing on budgeting, good and bad credit, tax and mortgages.

On 1st October 2023, Andrew Lee was proud to complete the Bury 10k in support of Bury Hospice, an organisation dedicated to providing support and care to patients living with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Michael Wharton at Rosebridge Leeds has been involved with ‘Andy’s Man Club‘, which now has over 100 clubs operating around the UK every Monday evening. Michael is proud to assist in their mission to get men talking and to break down the historical stigma associated with men’s mental illness.

We are proud to be members of The Hive 100 Youth Zone on the Wirral. The facilities in place to improve the lives of young people in the area, where 1 in 3 children are living in poverty, are truly incredible. The Hive enable young people to have opportunities, experiences and someone to talk to.

Our team at Leeds donate to Rainbow Junktion, one of many cafes that intercepts food that would otherwise go to waste from supermarkets, restaurants and a number of other sources, and turns it into healthy, nutritious meals for anyone and everyone on a pay-as-you-feel donation basis.

We are proud to sponsor 20 local football teams, including Ramsbottom United FC. Our CEO Phil Rose and Financial Planner Tom Kennedy are both former Ramsbottom United players and first team captains, so it’s great to go back to our roots and support the club where it all began!

We support many worthy charities, including the NSPCC’s Charity Fashion Show in Manchester earlier this year. Our Rosebridge women’s team were delighted to attend hearing inspiring stories and meeting with many other Women in Business.

Charity Events

Our team also regularly attend events, this year to date our team have attended the Frank Bruno Charity Dinner at Chester Race Course as well as Young People’s Networking Events encouraging the development of our team members who are developing in their roles. We also are involved with the Wirral and West Cheshire Chamber of Commerce who host charity events throughout the year.

The development of our team and home growth has always been a priority to us, with 18 PFS exams passed, two new chartered advisers and 3 diploma qualified staff highlighting some of the progression our team have achieved.
