About Gareth
Gareth enjoyed a 14-year career as a professional footballer before transitioning into financial services and taking on the role of Managing Director at Rosebridge. He now specialises in helping sports professionals and high-net-worth individuals secure their financial futures.
During his footballing career, Gareth earned a First-Class Honours degree, a Postgraduate qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and successfully completed his Chartered Insurance Institute exams before retiring. In 2009, he co-founded ProSport Wealth Management with Phil Rose.
Gareth is an affiliate of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and holds the STEP Certificate in UK Financial Services – Trusts and Estates. He now specialises in helping sports professionals and high-net-worth individuals secure their financial futures. With a firm understanding of the ups and downs of a professional sporting career, Gareth is able to relate to his clients and offer valuable advice on generating and preserving their wealth.
Gareth served as a board member of the Management Committee of the Professional Footballers Association for several years during his playing career and has been a trustee of The PFA Charity since 2014. His diverse client base includes athletes, managers, coaches, sporting directors, and high-net-worth business owners. Additionally, he offers independent investment governance advice and oversight to charities and trusts, assisting trustees in fulfilling their responsibilities.
