Christmas Jumper Day at Rosebridge – and our end of year message to you

As we approach the end of 2021, we wanted to let you know what’s been happening with your team of financial planners at Rosebridge.

So, here’s an update for you on a recent charity event – Christmas Jumper Day – that all the Rosebridge offices were involved in.

There’s also a look back at 2021 and a message to all of you at the end of another challenging year.

Rosebridge enters into the spirit of Christmas Jumper Day!

As you’ve probably noticed, Christmas Jumper Day has become one of the popular dates in the calendar during the run-up to Christmas.

It’s organised by Save the Children UK and it’s raised more than £27 million for them over the past 10 years.

The money raised has gone to fund great projects that help children all around the world, including in Yemen, Syria, and Rwanda.

The idea is that everyone wears their most garish and loud Christmas jumper to their place of work or school and donates to Save the Children for the “privilege” of doing so! Offices, other workplaces, and schools also run fun activities on the day to raise money, including cake sales, and sponsored events.

Clearly, the Covid lockdown meant that Christmas Jumper Day didn’t happen for most offices, including ours, in 2020. But we decided to properly enter into the spirit this year, along with a reported 2.5 million other people around the UK.

All our four offices signed up and our staff arrived for work in a series of very loud, and very Christmassy jumpers!

We don’t yet have a final figure of how much we raised, but everyone had a great time, and it’s really put us all in the festive mood.

What do you think about our newsletters?

It would be useful to hear your thoughts about our new monthly newsletters.

Our aim is to produce articles that are topical and relevant to your financial planning requirements.

So, if you have any ideas of subjects that you’d like us to cover in future articles, please let us know and we’ll look to focus our attention on those issues.

Our thanks to you

Finally, we’d like to offer our grateful thanks for all your support over the past 12 months.

The 21 months since the pandemic started in March 2020 and we all went into lockdown have been particularly challenging.

Along with the changes we’ve all had to make to our day-to-day routines, the pandemic has also necessitated dramatic alterations to the way we’ve run our business.

As you’ve probably noticed, Zoom calls and remote contact became very much the norm rather than the exception during the long months of lockdown.

So, we’d like to thank all of you for the way you adapted to meeting with us via your computer or laptop rather than face-to-face.

Thanks, also, to those of you who have recommended our services to your family and friends. This is a great vote of confidence in us.

Season’s greetings

All of us at Rosebridge would like to wish you and your families a very merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous new year.

We look forward to seeing you in 2022.
