Christmas is a time for spreading joy, kindness, and goodwill. It is a time when we have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on our local communities. By getting involved in charitable initiatives, it not only demonstrates our commitment to corporate social responsibility but also gives us a sense of pride among our fantastic team who are making a difference in their local communities.
“I’d like to shine a light on the heart of our team, I couldn’t be prouder of the Rosebridge team, our culture, and their passion to give back is outstanding, and it’s not just at Christmas! The team consistently goes above and beyond, from volunteering their time and organising fundraisers to taking part in sporting events and Marathons for important causes. They take it upon themselves to make a difference, without any prompting or push from me or our leadership team. This speaks volumes about the incredible culture we have fostered together.
We are committed to supporting good causes, we understand the significance of our commitment to engaging in charitable activities, particularly during Christmas, and how Rosebridge’s involvement helps our local communities and inspires others to help make a difference.” Phil Rose, Group CEO.
“We know local organisations often face challenges in meeting the needs of the less fortunate, and businesses can play a vital role in bridging that gap. Whether it is donating funds, organising food drives, or volunteering time, we have the power to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need, especially at Christmas!” Gareth Griffiths, Managing Director.
“Engaging in charitable activities aligns with our principles of corporate social responsibility. We actively participate to help make a difference, and we are committed to giving back to good causes. The work Rosebridge does goes beyond financial planning. We invest time, resources, and effort into supporting charitable initiatives. We are committed to making a difference and creating a positive social impact.” Steven Banks, Senior Partner.

Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children
Save The Children’s Christmas Jumper Day Was Back!
The team joined the Christmas Jumper Day celebrations that took place Thursday 7 December 2023.
The team got their Christmas jumpers on to support the charity in helping kids in the UK and around the world get the best future ever.
“It’s not just about wearing a daft Christmas jumper, our team are committed to helping children facing serious issues like war, hunger and poverty. And with the cost-of-living crisis and the conflicts happening around the world right now, children really needed people to show their support for this good cause again this year. Well done everyone!” Kathryn Wallwork, Group Head of Operations.
Save the Family – Our story – Save the Family
Save the Family provides residential accommodation and support for families that are homeless (or at risk of becoming homeless) and who have multiple and complex needs.
The main site of Save the Family is situated in rural Cheshire and has 26 self-contained units ranging from one-bedroomed studio apartments to 3-bedroomed accommodation. All are available to house many families who are referred from across the UK, but who primarily come from the local areas of North Wales, Cheshire, and the Northwest.
Last year, we donated 29 pairs of Christmas Pyjamas for the younger children ages between 6 months and 10 years. After speaking with the family’s team this year, a donation of Christmas pyjamas had already been made. Therefore, as they currently have a lot of teenage children on site, we have donated 15 “oodies”. They are a dressing gown/jumper that teenagers love and are great for keeping warm over the winter months.
We are delighted to be supporting Save the Family again this year, the work they do all year round is vital for families in and around Chester.
Chester Food Bank – Chester FC supporting West Cheshire Foodbank at Christmas – Chester FC Community Trust
During December, Chester FC and the Community Trust are supporting the West Cheshire Foodbank. The Club collects donations to support people in the community who are in crisis as demand for emergency food, unfortunately, continues to increase.
In 2022/23, food banks provided 2,986,203 three-day emergency food supplies and support to UK people in crisis. Of these, 1,139,553 were distributed for children.
Our donation this year will go towards purchasing the vital items the West Cheshire Foodbank needs. They estimate they will provide over 1000 Christmas food parcels for local individuals and families in crisis in the three weeks leading up to Christmas.
We are really pleased to be able to support the West Cheshire Foodbank again this year, the work they do all year round is vital for individuals and families in and around Chester.
Donation to Ramsbottom Pantry
Giving back to our local community for our community!
Ramsbottom Pantry is a voluntary food pantry, a community-run charity, that aims to support everyone in need in the local area and who are completely donation-driven.
Over the Christmas period, some of the team from Head Office gave their time to Ramsbottom Pantry and Rosebridge made a large donation once again this year to support Ramsbottom Pantry’s efforts in providing help to those who need it in these very challenging times!
Mission Christmas
We were proud to support Mission Christmas! The mission is to help support local children living in poverty this Christmas.
We were one of the Christmas gift drop-off locations for hitsradio.co.uk/mission People dropped off their Christmas gifts at our head office: 11 Market Place, Ramsbottom Bury, BL0 9AJ.
One present, double the support!
Rosebridge matched all gifts received by way of a monetary donation, which will help Mission Christmas purchase gifts for those age groups with fewer donations and also buy specialist gifts for children with additional needs.
Through our marketing and social media channels, we encouraged others to donate so that with our combined efforts we can ensure more Children will receive a Christmas gift this year.
“Well done team and thank you to everyone who has shown their support and donated this year. Great effort, truly inspiring!” Phil Rose.
Merry Christmas, from Phil, Steven, Gareth, and all the Rosebridge Team
